Then he butchered it in front of us (with a saw!) …


Then he cooked it up…

His was made with sprigs of fresh rosemary, but tomorrow mine will have roasted ground cumin seeds. I’m also making salad (from lettuces that I’m picking!) for the whole group and French dressing, gravy to go with the lamb, and this simple, but fresh and tasty fruit salad of blueberries, raspberries, nectarines, and mint. Lovely, isn’t it?

    yummy – i want to come to rosie’s lambfest 🙂 i’ve been working up the nerve (and figuring out where to get equipment and ingredients) to start trying to make some charcuterie at home. i’m semi-considering ordering a quarter of a heritage breed pig too… a little crazy?
