Letter to My Mother

Dear Mother,

I just wanted to let you know, I can now make your favorite tea time treat:


Pictured above are Crunchy Orange Butter Scones filled with orange butter (butter, icing sugar, and finely grated orange rind), and the ones below are a classic Ballymaloe recipe known as “Mummy’s Sweet White Scones”.

I made them mini-version, so I could split them with a dollop of cream and jam (like we eat quite often here at the cookery school)…
